This past week the wind has been wimpy. Here is Julie getting as much as she can out of the wind. On a positive note, the water has been wonderfully flat.
The San Carlos kiteboarding report is mostly about wind, kite boarding, beaches and bikinis in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico and a few other places. Lots of photos and up to date reports of all the beach action. Windy
More days with strong wind than days without wind. It's been good. Lots of 20 to 25 knot afternoons. Usually mellows out after 4:00pm or so. Water seemed to be warming up a couple of weeks ago but then it cooled off again and is in the low 60's right now.
Most days there are only a few of us out on the water.

OK Wind
Last week ended with some good wind. They took the fence down on Friday that was keeping us from driving to the end of the beach. After a few days of rest the wind came back but so did some clouds and the wind has struggled to get up to 20 knots. The fence also came back. What?
They've been getting ready to open a new bar business next to Soggy Peso and I assumed that they were opening up access for parking for it. But today they put a new fence up. Doesn't make much sense to me so we'll have to wait and see what they have in mind.

More Wind
We continue having more days with wind than not. Often it starts out strong and gusty but evens out as the day goes on. It's looking a little bit lighter today, maybe 18 to 20 knots. I could use the break. The gusty and choppy days wear me out. I can't seem to bring myself to depower the kite. 😂
