We continue to get northwest winds strong enough for some good kiting. The weather predictions have been fairly reliable except they usually under estimate the wind. In the past ten days or so we've had several days of good wind that didn't start until late in the afternoon and then the past two days the wind came early. Most days peak out in the 15 to 20 knot range. Nice warm water. Crowded on weekends. Sunday looks like the next possible good day.
The San Carlos kiteboarding report is mostly about wind, kite boarding, beaches and bikinis in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico and a few other places. Lots of photos and up to date reports of all the beach action. If you would like to contact me directly about kiting in San Carlos or about kite boarding instruction, my email is: kite420@gmail.com (Donald)

Kiting in September
The start of the season is still a few weeks away but we are already getting northwest wind. The last two days have been particularly nice. The best wind has been between 4:00 and 5:00pm.
We had a hurricane pass by us that changed the beach profile. The beach is flatter with better sand with less rocks. All in all it is very nice. Still storm season though, so it could change again. The hurricane washed away a lot of sand from in front of the bars and the houses down the beach. Much less beach there between the buildings and the sea.
